All interesting speculation, so I throw in another scenario.



BA sell BAEF to Jet2 for a stake in Jet2.

The LGW opps then fall under the experiance of a LowCo with a track record of specialising in bucket and spade traffic. All while removing any staffing responsibilities (and union interactions) from BA.

Then Jet2 operate out of LGW as a BA franchise allowing BA & BA holidays to continue selling as current while also allowing Jet2 Holidays to sell trips on "BA" flights out of LGW. All of which if successful could be replicated else where in the UK.



But overall, I believe this and the previous posts to be hearsay, pure speculation.
