when I went to renew my GE the first time, I had gone to enroll in NEXUS first, and they told me that you can only be in one TTP at a time, but adding NEXUS effectively renews/extends GE, in the same way that GE renews/extends TSA Precheck. It’s all one KTN. The information required by NEXUS includes everything required by GE. And for some inexplicable reason, costs half as much.
