Honestly, I have my doubts about the integrity of the enquiry in the first place. I can sort of imagine a conversation on the lines of "doesn't matter what airport in Europe you arrive at, I'll drop by in my Learjet and pick you up" being not a particularly convincing proposition given the size of the aforementioned continent, and if someone is able to specify that they'd also have someone in their retinue who could check flight options on their behalf.
I have a few friends that mainly fly GA that will definitely ask me what to do when there is a commercial flight involved. The assumption that just because they happen to have bought a jet they have someone competent to answer commercial flight questions is in my experience wrong.
I would advise against connecting on the east coast though - that's a long crappy flight from SEA to get to an F seat...
