I have a few friends that mainly fly GA that will definitely ask me what to do when there is a commercial flight involved. The assumption that just because they happen to have bought a jet they have someone competent to answer commercial flight questions is in my experience wrong.

I would advise against connecting on the east coast though - that's a long crappy flight from SEA to get to an F seat...
