LHR was fun last night. My VS flight from TLV was delayed and I noticed the BA flight was too. Staff on the ground had little info, everyone was relying on the BBC. T3 was a breeze, but there were some very unfortunate people seeking to reclaim baggage after cancellations.
Sofitel was chaotic, many people walking round with vouchers not knowing what to do. Lift to reception from LHR not working (still) so wheelchair passengers being carried by some excellent HAL staff.
One USA couple said they had no real issue with BA but waiting for many hours before being told their flight was cancelled was unfortunate, they wished they were informed sooner.
Felt for the pax this morning at the hotel about to play BA flight Bingo once again
