I walked by the other day. The development is impressive. Kind of sad to see the the old commercial streets of the city transformed in this way, but i guess that's just being stick-in-the-mud.
Next door is Sao Domingos, one of the most atmospheric churches you'll find.

Lisbon seems swamped by tourists year-round, so I'm intrigued at what could be drawing in the tens of thousands extras over five days. I know there's a Madonna concert and an international choir festival , but....
