I knew there was the rule with the codeshare but didn’t know it applied to ticket stock. I wonder when that requirement was added. I flew to India last year on UA & LH via FRA and back on LX and UA via ZRH. Both the LH and LX flights overflew Iranian airspace. I was on a UA ticket number (016) and these flights were sold through UA’s website.
