BA normally pays the taxi fare in this scenario, I don't think they look at the timings much. That is plenty of time to get their by public transport, which I'm happy to do and is straightforward, but it has 2 changes at Jamaica and Jackson Heights. The Q70 bus from there to LGA is free of charge, so $11.15 all in.
