You're right! I just checked the week before and after my dates, and they were all refundable. I had booked this as a backup while I scoured for a potentially better option, but I guess the decision's been made for me now. Looks like a pretty nice property so not really that bummed. That'll teach me to look at the fine print on points bookings.
Check the t&c's of your booking confirmation. I have had a couple of hotels recently change the conditions after I booked and I had to go via IHG Diamond line in order to get them cancelled.
