My family were booked on the 93 to YYZ yesterday, connecting from a domestic flight, which was then cancelled after being on board for 5 hours and unable to make a necessary repair to the aircraft. They have stayed overnight at Heathrow and were originally rebooked on a flight to Toronto on Saturday (2 September) - the next available direct flight in economy.

After much persistence on the phone they have now been booked on an AA flight to JFK this morning and then an Air Canada flight from LGA to YYZ this evening - the staff member seemed very reluctant to book any connecting flights and was only looking at direct flights, and wouldn’t book in economy on an Air Canada direct flight today with availability either as he didn’t have access to this (however could then book LGA-YYZ)? However that’s by the by.

In terms of the connection from JFK to LGA would they be likely to succeed in claiming a taxi for this on expenses, the connection time is about 6 hours? There are two passengers on the booking with luggage. Thanks
