If you are doing non-Suite room, they often give you rooms even if you arrive on 11am to noon. Obviously, this would depend on how busy the hotel is, but they are generally okay with early check-in if there are rooms available. To be clear, I'm also globalist.

Also, you should definitely check in at the club lounge rather than the regular desk. The club lounge front desk people know much more about globalist benefit than the regular front desk people (this is just my opinion).
