Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked standard room. Asked for an extra bed for our child, which costs an extra 880 NTD / night (almost half of the room price), I said OK. Upon arrival I was informed they had upgraded us to a room with 2 queen beds instead, and they didn't even charge for the extra bed.

How are the rooms?
As you'd expect in a HIX. Small, functional, clean and comfortable. Blackout blinds blocked the light well. If I recall they had USB-C outlets in addition to USB-A, so fairly recent setup.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
Good:

• Confortable bed
• Upgrade
• Breakfast was really decent, better than one can reasonably expect at this price point. There was a cook making noodles, and fresh fruits included lychees.
• There's a small outlet centre in the building with shops and a few eateries.

Bad:

• Note the basic rooms ("atrium view") face inside of the building. I expect they systematically upgrade elite members to the outside facing rooms when possible.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Yes, we paid less than 2000 NTD / night and it gets all the basics right. Very good value for money, really can't complain
