E.g. the IC Bali Jimbaran had at some point only nonrefundable rates loaded for Aug (high season) this year, even a best flexible rate or our corporate as well as points nights were all non refundable which was comical. A few weeks later I checked again and they had lifted it and applied a 30 days notice instead, also not very enticing.
You're right! I just checked the week before and after my dates, and they were all refundable. I had booked this as a backup while I scoured for a potentially better option, but I guess the decision's been made for me now. Looks like a pretty nice property so not really that bummed. That'll teach me to look at the fine print on points bookings.
