Just completed a one-night stay here; paid around $170 for a Sunday night. In short, although the breakfast isn’t full service I was treated well and would gladly return.
I arrived around 11:30AM; several people were trying to check in and all being told to come back at 3PM. I asked if I might be able to get into my room and the front desk agent (who was extremely welcoming) said she thought there was a clean room and she’d personally go up to inspect it. Around 10 minutes later she came back and I was good to go.. I definitely appreciated the effort for the early check-in.
As a globalist I was given two drink vouchers (good for beer or wine at the rooftop) and was told each person in my group could order 4 items at the cafe for breakfast. I just had a coffee and a piece of quiche - the quiche was small, but it was actually very good. The rest of my family had a variety of items and everyone liked their food. Breakfast starts at 7.
The rooftop was pretty jammed on a Sunday evening but I was able to use my drink chits without a problem and enjoyed the views. I didn’t get anything to eat but the food looked good.
The room was upgraded to a city view and was very pleasant although the bed was a bit soft. I heard a bit of noise (eg garbage trucks) but it was tolerable.
I was also surprised to find a bottle of a gin cocktail left in my room with a bucket of ice. I’m a beer drinker so I left it behind but appreciated the gesture.
everyone was very friendly and I enjoyed the location. I’ll be back.
