Depends what you are wanting/needing. If you are needing SP ANZ Platinum is likely to be very helpful e.g. for elite if get 66% on NZ metal the ANZ card will give you the 33%, for example. If you need APD Amex most probably better earn. Also a lot of people are now just paying for the ANZ card for the SP bonus and not actually using it for any transactions, as $150 is worth it for the SP.
