She may be mistaken. I hope that you are right about it. If I don't get any certificate, then it will not be worth the $350 as I already have one Brilliant card. We'll see, if a certificate doesn't come in I can always cancel the card and get a pro-rated refund of my annual fee.
They said you would not get either a 35k or an 85k cert? That's not what other people have said upthread for conversions that were made the opposite way. According to that, the card you hold at your anniversary that's the certificate you will get. There are several posts where members had Brilliant at anniversary and downgraded a few weeks later to the $95 card and still received an 85k cert because they held a Brilliant at anniversary.
