The one upgrade I missed in 2004 was BOS-LAX. With only 16 F seats on the 738 (compare: 30 on the 763, 22 on the 757), it's not an easy upgrade to begin with. Combine that with the cheap YUP fares ($499 o/w) and folks do seem to be buying these tickets (myself included, sometimes).
