Mr. didn't realize that the day he flew into Warsaw (Poland) was their holiday (his plan was to get to his office in Warsaw and work and then head to the hotel to sleep). Since he made that mistake and it costs too much to change the ticket he got to the hotel at around 10-ish.
The day before I used the chat to ask the front desk if early check-in was available and was told based on availability - absolutely fair enough. I checked in for him via the app and said he would be there at 9am. He was there at 10-ish and they said the room was ready but there would be a 10 EUR charge, he said no and they said he could have the room at noon. Mr is LTG working his way to LTP. While he was checking in someone called to ask for a 1pm late check-out, he heard 1 hour late check out would costs 50 PLN. I asked Mr. why they quoted EUR to him and PLN to the others - he said no idea.
At 11:20am the front desk told him to go to the counter (he was working in the lobby), Mr. went there and there was someone in front of him wanted to check in at 11:20, and they told him he has to pay 50 PLN to get a room. That person went away and Mr. got his room.
I told Mr to ask them to get him a partial refund since he left his room before 9
