I have a round trip award trip to Europe coming up.
Assuming I fly the outbound leg, If I get into a situation where I need to make an early return to the US, will AA allow me to cancel the return portion, and redeposit the miles and applicable taxes? (I would presume from that point I could book a new one way ticket home.)
With full benefit of hindsight, I would be in a better position if I had booked two one way tickets rather than a round trip.
