Schlotsky's started in Austin IIRC.

I went to grad school in Austin & also worked there from 1980-86. Schlotsky's sandwiches were very good. I have had tSchlotsky's in recent years in various parts of the country & although usually decent, not nearly as good as what I had in Austin.

I would also take some very good BBQ brisket, etc onboard when departing from IAH, DFW & AUS. Since alot of the airlines have eliminated free food in coach, I will be taking some food on board if I don't have time to eat in the airports.
