Yes I never understand why some sites restrict access to only be used if you are currently accessing the internet from that country.
I often try to buy gifts for my friends and family back in Australia, from an Australian store's website - placing an order to be delivered to their address in Australia, so it's all local and doesn't need international shipping. But it's often rejected because I'm attempting to buy it from a UK internet connection, and then I need to try a VPN to get it to work.
The same happens in reverse when I'm in Australia and want to buy something in the UK, to be delivered or collected in the UK once I'm back. The sites will detect that I'm not currently in the UK and don't let me buy it. So frustrating.
