I'm a disappointed Avis Presidential club member seeking your advice. Recent experience fell short. Looking for recommendations on status matching with other car rental companies. Where have you had success?

Despite the status, there was zero recognition, no upgrade info, and I ended up with a less-than-ideal car. Disheartening, to say the least. So much bird poop 💩.
