I've only ever transited other direction (T3 to T2), so I'm not certain what the transit security screening looks like at T2, but no matter as both are connected airside. The T2 lounges aren't particularly nicer than safra, except that they might be less crowded — and of course that given the PP rules you state, they might admit you when you want to get in.
