Today I had some work to do, but the CCR is sadly lacking in decent spaces to sit at to work.
All there seems to be nowadays are the three pods with miniscule tables that barely have space for just a laptop, let alone a mouse, notepad, or glass of water. They replaced the boardroom/business suite with sleep pods, and the three glass work desks proved very short lived.
So I asked a staffer if there was anywhere else I was unaware of, as I was considering going to the F lounge to the old Champagne bar area that more recently has been repurposed as an open plan hot desk area.
Well, I was offered Cabana 2, which, as far as I can tell, has been repurposed as a staff area.
It turned out to be a very welcome, if somewhat utilitarian area to work, although a larger desk without the tray lips would be slightly more welcome: the table is the only piece of furnishing still extant from the room's life as a cabana.
The private bathroom area is still there behind the sliding door, but I didn't use it, and I don't think that it was intended to be used, either, at least not by me!
