I'm new to PC, and I would like to book award partner tickets (JL) from Tokyo to Seoul for me and my wife. Both of us have the exact required amount of miles on our QR accounts, but the process is not clear. It seems that with family pooling miles aren't combined, but instead main account holder gets the partner's future mileage, so we would have to make 2 reservations.

I've read that PC passes fees to the client, but on the award ticket reservation request screen I don't see an estimate, I can only select flights, fill in passport data, and click request award ticket. Will it take time to process this request, and I would be required to pay fees later? How I can inquire how much fees I will need to pay? Does this process take a long time? Because I will request award tickets from 2 different accounts.
