Question about Porter assistance at SFO Airport

Hello,

I'm going to be traveling SIN-SFO-JFK later this month as I could not get seats on the direct SIN-JFK flights for my travel dates. I know this means that I will need to collect my baggage from International arrivals and then take them over to the Domestic Transfer desk.

Now the distance (at least on the airport map) looks very short, but unfortunately I have had multiple back surgeries which means I can't really lift luggage that's heavier than 5-6 pounds. I've generally been lucky in previous trips to the US that some co-passengers are kind enough to help me get my luggage off the belt, but not knowing whether I will have any help does tend to make me quite anxious. I noticed that the SFO airport website lists a porter service: flysfo.com/passengers/services/baggage-porters-international-terminal (please add www as I cannot post links on the forum)

The page says "inquire with their airline staff for assistance" or contact a phone number. When I called SQ customer care, I was told I would have to call the airport directly as they do not have any information about this type of service. Calling the number on that page resulted in a automated message saying "The Service has been suspended due to COVID-19"

Does anybody know if this service is available and if yes, how do I go about making a booking for assistance?
