Pre-Covid, Fairfield Vandais Heights (MN) as did other Fairfields used to have fresh cut-up pieces of fruit such melons, pineapples, etc. that arrived in the kitchen in plastic buckets. It hasn't yet been brought back in Vandais Heights, although bananas and apples are available. The manager told me he wasn't allowed to bring it back since it wasn't yet part of the current Marriott "standards". However, I've stay at other Fairfields since where it has been available. So, I'm curious. Is there really a Marriott "standard" for Fairfields that he must follow (and are other Fairfields breaking a rule) or is this something that the franchisee is implementing in order to save a few pennies per guest?
