I make tofu at home frequently, so I’ll be a little more critical. The tofu was very spongy and poor quality and essentially tasteless. The texture reminded me of stinky tofu in Taiwan. The rice and vegetables were not bad, but I ended up using the ginger salad dressing to dump on the dish to give it all some flavor otherwise I could have been chewing on styrofoam and not noticed the difference.
The cake was dry but some what rescued by the creamy icing.
Service was very good, with a super friendly crew, and frequent refills. Pre departure beverages were offered once boarding settled down and economy customers were kept out of first class during dinner.
Fight was capped off with beautiful views of Chicago fringed by thunderstorms as we passed by.
Yikes, tofu only gets that porous and spongy when its been frozen and thawed again.
