I'm a cardholder in Taiwan, and the annual fee here is 160,000 NTD (or $5,000 USD). For me, this card offers some handy little benefits.

For instance, in Taipei, it provides free parking at numerous department stores and hotels and gives me access to their lounges. Considering parking in downtown Taipei is scarce and often pricey, this perk has saved me a lot of time and money.
At the airport, I get to enter EVA Air's premium lounge even when flying economy – super useful for short trips between East Asian cities.

For daily chores, a simple text to the card's manager gets things done. This includes restaurant reservations, even the hard-to-book ones. Sometimes, a single message gets me a reservation, saving the hassle of planning.
I don't expect them to perform miracles, but when I fell seriously ill once, they pointed me to a top-notch hospital and doctor. That might be the main reason I'd always back them.

Regarding the 50% discounts at fine dining restaurants and luxury travel packages, I don't use them much. It's hard to find matching hotels for my usual travel destinations, and fine dining restaurants can be a bit too much for my health, outweighing that 50% discount.

Now and then, I use the hotel gym benefits with my family – it's pretty enjoyable.

All in all, the benefits I frequently use are just the small ones. Is it worth spending $410 USD every month on them? Right now, it feels okay, especially since in Taiwan, two other additional cardholders can enjoy the same benefits. But if that additional cards gets axed, I might have to rethink.
