Did you try out the restaurants at the Haneda Garden? I only walked around in the early hours of the morning where everything was closed except for the two hotels.
I only tried out the buffet restaurant after my arrival as it was late and I was tired and had an early morning flight out the next day. Looking back though I probably should have gone to Terminal 3 for dinner instead. More choices and better? choices.
