Souffle was like a cross between a car tyre and a bath sponge. Sauce was nice though. The beef cheeks, oops cheek, was awful, tasteless and as tough as boots and not very warm either. Pudding was nice. I enjoyed that. Crew were indifferent. Asked me 3 times if I wanted dinner, despite being advised that I would eat 3 hours in. Guess it was because everyone had eaten virtually straight after departure. My meal service was rushed and I got the distinct impression I was an inconvenience to them. I had to take my empties back to them as they were busy eating shortbreads. Let’s see what the light meal brings. Overall a lacklustre no event of a meal. And certainly not a First Class one!
I thought I'd read somewhere on this forum that F crew were undergoing retraining to emphasise that dine on demand means dine on demand. Perhaps it hasn't reached all the crew yet. My limited experience on BA F (which I will never choose again) was that crew put pressure on passengers in order to get the meal service finished as soon as possible. Well done for sticking to your guns, but it's a shame it wasn't easy.

Edited to add, that food would not meet my expectations for F class food, in many ways. But it does look overcooked. Maybe they started heating your food at the time they wanted to serve you, not at the time you asked to be served. Hence the poor quality and the constant querying of whether you wanted it earlier. If that's the case, and it's only a guess, maybe they should have come clean about it.
