I'm flying JFK-SFO-HND with the first leg in AA early morning and the second leg JAL, all booked as an AA award. Will AA be able to check me into the JAL flight? Or should I try to find the JFK T8 JAL check-in counter, assuming it's even open that hour? If it's not open, is the right move to exit security at SFO to go to the JAL check-in counter?
