Cannot do online check-in for award stays: chainwide or property-specific problem
I stay at a particular Courtyard hotel several times a year
I could not do online checkin this time and the desk clerk said they need to check in award stays in person so they can take a credit card for incidentals. This despite the fact that a credit card number is given during the online reservation process for the award stay.
Wondering if this is a Marriott-wide issue or just a hotel-specific problem.
