Why can't I check in online?
It's 23 hrs before the flight departure, the page shows "Your flights are not eligible for online modification. Please contact our call center for more details."
On calling, I'm told the ticket looks good but is under "airport control" and I can only check in there!
Is this because they need to verify the passport? The agent I spoke to didn't know why, just "this happens a lot".
fwiw, all my flights are on Swiss.
