Two of us arrive in IST on Sep 2, needing to get to hotel in Sultanahmnet. Normally, I use Uber for airport transfers (or public transport) but am not seeing comforting info about Uber in Turkiye, especially from airport into the city, such as: Uber only brings regular yellow taxis, not private cars; taxi "mafia" will harass you if you use Uber; Uber driver will cancel ride at last minute; Uber will cost more because it is regular taxi plus uber charges on top; etc...

Is Uber a good choice from IST to Sultanahmet?
