I would do Qantas for breakfast a la carte & then hit the Cathay lounge for noodles & a shower, if thats your thing..

77W nothing to worry about, just the 772 has the 40% chance of getting the bad Zodiac seats. Mini cabin debate has been had on here a few times, I feel like 70% of ppl say to take it. For me its 100% a no brainer Private feeing, quiet cabin, further away from the engine & they serve your first.

Row 3 has less windows than 4 and ur right up by the curtain with FA's passing by . But this is a bit more bothersome from 3D/H than from 3J. I like the extra windows of 4 and doesnt feel as crammed for some reason. I am sensitive to lavs but its never bothered me from Row 4. The AC comes out above 4DH so Row 4 is a little colder than Row 3 in my experience. Would recommend J over A for your flight as you get less sun glare & better landing views at LAX.
