I received this offer last night. This is an enticing offer; spend $5K, within 3 months, get 250K, points and 15 annual elite night credits, 6X bonus points using the card when paying for the stay, plus an annual award night, up to 35K points, for an annual fee of $95. This seems like a no-brainer, but I am a bit confused about one thing; it indicates that I can earn up to 17X Total Points at Hotels; is this a maximum? I cannot find an answer in the T&Cs. I am currently Bonvoy Titanium ( I realize my profile doesn't reflect this,) so I receive a 75% bonus. Currently on a room rate of $100.00, I'm receiving 1,000, base points, plus 750 bonus points, which equates to 17.5, points per dollar spent. I feel dumb for even asking, but I've been wrong in the past. Would acquiring the card limit me to 17X, total points as a Titanium? I would expect that with my status and the card, I would receive 10 base points, 7.5, (75%) bonus points for being Titanium and 6 bonus points, per dollar spent, for using the card to pay foy the stay; making the total points 23.5, per dollar spent. Maybe I'm overthinking this?
