Currently they are, and have been, flying mostly a 787-8 on the NH125/126 flight from HND to LAX all summer with the occasional swap to 787-9 when they expect it to be a busier flight. With so many seats every day between LAX and TYO, I wouldn't be surprised to see this continue next year, as well.
