The CoC is both a unilateral contract, and ripe with exculpatory clauses you can drive a truck through. Right at this moment, AA is arguing in court that the purchase of a ticket provides for transportation and nothing else - not even a seat. Not a specific seat, but ANY seat.

Much of it is worth toilet paper and little else.
