GE -> Nexus Conversion
June 08, 2022: Applied for Nexus, hoping to receive it before my GE membership expired in June 2023
June 07, 2023: Looks like my Nexus application isn't going to receive conditional approval, so I cancelled it to renew GE before multiple planned road trips to Canada and flights. I suppose if I didn't have travel to Canada planned, I could have applied for plain PreCheck instead. At least Amex covered the GE fee since they don't cover Nexus.
June 09, 2023: GE renewal approved, shockingly without needing to reinterview and I apply for Nexus again
August 25, 2023: Nexus conditional approval received

I live in Washington but will be travelling to Michigan in September, so I was able to find an interview appointment at the Detroit Enrollment Center after I land at DTW. Easier to stop there than driving to Blaine.

Assuming I receive full approval, can I use my GE card to enter Canada via the Nexus lanes, since the PASSID number does not change?
