The poor guy on the desk eventually relented and let him in, and to be honest it’s difficult to blame him given the scene he was making, especially as the lounge was very quiet. Well, I never EVER defend DYKWIA-type behaviour (being completely immune from any such displays myself
).
However, if he was a GCH and arrived on a BA long-haul flight then he would have been eligible for access, but it sounds like it was a BA codeshare, so he wouldn't.
The only people who can do that are Premier (not 100% sure about GGL on that front, actually).
Should have gone to the AArrivals lounge in T3, I guess.....
