My experience at CDG has been exactly the opposite with check-in and security. I've either been turned away or had to argue to use the Sky Priority check-in in 2E multiple times because I was the only one with status and not the rest of my family (although it's never been a problem at 2F), but at security and passport control it's never been an issue for us all to go together.
