I'm looking to do a mileage run for MQMs and MQDs on Aeromexico from TIJ to CJS (thanks canuck_traveler for the suggestion) but I can only book through travel agencies per
google flights. I tried searching on Aeromexico's booking system, but the flight doesn't even exist on their system (the return flight on the third party site does not populate on Aeromexico's site). I can only book via third party and in this case I'm trying to book with Expedia. Looking for any guidance/info on whether this will be more of a hassle compared to booking direct. Thanks!
I used Expedia for an AM mileage run and had no issues. They actually helped more than AM did when IRROPS occurred (it took 4 hours of chatting with them, but they got me home faster AND still in business, which AM was not willing to do). In both AM and Expedia's defense - this was when MEX shut down due to volcanic ash.
Make sure to keep your physical boarding pass and that your skymiles number is on it!
