Though the lack of details really does make it difficult to figure out what actually happened.
Asking the OP to provide clarity and completeness in the description (which is what most of the posts do) is not an attack...

To be honest I'm so confused - I'm not even sure if the OP ever attempted to board the flight. As best I can piece together so far:
- OP tells us they and family showed up at the gate around 35 minutes prior to scheduled departure
- OP tells us they have boarding passes in hand
- OP says at some point in this the "gate agents were dealing with other passengers and refused to attend to us" and thus they were denied boarding
- OP also says in a different post that the gate agents were "were not at the gate allowing us to board but attending to other passengers."
- OP also says in yet another post that they were "there waiting in the line and someone announces boarding complete."
OP hasn't given us these tidbits in the order in which they occurred. I hope they take the time to do so, that would help us diagnose what happened and what recourse, if any, OP has.
I find it very hard to process how anyone who is at the gate 35 minutes before STD doesn't get a chance to present their BP for boarding - even if the gate agents close the flight early. I also find it hard to understand how "boarding complete" could be announced without making several last call announcements and/or paging anyone on the manifest who had not boarded.
I still find myself wondering if the OP missed a gate change and was at the wrong gate during this whole thing. Would potentially explain most of the circumstances.
