Yes, I read that, however the gate staff when asked said specifically it
wasn’t weather. Although perhaps the members of this forum are more clued up than BA’s own staff.
Flight cancelled anyway. Told to go from gate 18 where the flight was supposed to leave from to the customer service desk to fill in a form in order to exit. Enormous queue of course, but in fact gate 19 had been opened to exit from without waiting. No info from BA staff or any announcements, the Heathrow staff member I spoke to simply walked off when I asked for him to call a manager. Appreciate weather may be the cause here but another shambles from the staff at Heathrow.
