I'd booked saver fares from SEA-DUB-BCN, but got a notification that the schedule had changed, and was rebooked on a flight the next day.
Since that messes up the rest of my scheduled vacation plans, can I ask for a full refund? The Mrs had called the helpline and they said since we've been rebooked (to arrive 24hrs later) we can't get a refund anymore.
We've asked to speak to a supervisor, who'll get back to us in 72hrs.
Is there anything else left to do? My options seem to be:
- insist on a refund or open a dispute with credit card company (and book new tickets on another carrier/schedule)
- eat the loss and enjoy a shorter vacation that's a day shorter than planned (2 days in BCN instead of 3)
Unless you accepted the change and now want to change your mind you are entitled to a refund. As far as I am aware small schedule changes don’t require a refund but a whole day certainly does.
