EC 261 - successful claim

My daughter used her expiring LH miles for two tickets BRU-WAW-IST on LOT in late July. As the BRU-WAW flight was delayed they missed their connection in WAW and were rebooked on a later flight to IST.
On returning home they submitted two claims for delayed arrival using the form on the LOT website and got a reply a few days later asking for bank details.

2 x €400 was received last week, 23 days from delayed flight to compensation.
