I rejigged the trip slightly (now a DONE5) to include Singapore and a stopover in Hawaii on the way to North America. Am using Alaskan Airlines a few times, which I would have preferred to avoid as they do not have flat bed seats, but I could not figure out a better way to get to SJO and maximise TPs. As a newbie to RTW it seems that you are fairly restricted in what you can do in Africa and South America but I am very pleased with the trip that we have managed to put together. I will be working with my TA in March/April to complete the booking. Thanks again to everyone who has helped me put this together
