Well, I finally pulled the trigger and booked it on the legacy LH system. Ended up as £3700 return rather than the £3400 I was seeing on the website, but still not a bad price for First and still cheaper than BA club direct.

Really hope it will all be smoother from here! Only my second First trip ever, and the first First with Swiss so incredibly excited.

Ended up flying LHR to ZRH the day before ZRH to JNB because it was significantly cheaper. The feeder is in J, Longhaul F. The layover is a few minutes over 24hours. Any idea if we’ll be able to use the First desk/lounge at LHR or check the luggage straight though?
