I was on an LHR to JFK last week and the service was absolutely exceptional. I would go so far as to say that it was as good as I have received in any F cabin with any airline in 25 years of premium travel.

It may just have been that I got lucky by being looked after by an extremely competent young gentleman but, after years of moaning, it gave me hope!
