The Tokyo Park Tower (also known as the Tokyo Gas Building) is really three buildings next to each other in a zigzag pattern. I guess they could knock down the Girandole far wall and open up the space to the last hallway on the way to the check-in desk. But I think that would ruin things.

The hallway between the elevator foyer/Peak Bar and the Girandole cannot really be modified, I recall there are windows looking out on both sides.
Yes I thought the same - the glass roof setup at the elevator foyer is also a unique selling point so I can’t see them shifting that much either. My hunch is they move the actual “lobby” to where the Peak Lounge is and expand the space by shrinking Girandole a bit and relocating the stairs to Kozue to extend the space a bit… but it’s anyone’s guess at this point.

Regardless, I think it will still be a fair number of steps and 2 elevator rides still from the ground floor to your room
